Euro 2024 - the advertising pressure from the official sponsors, above all LIDL, is enormous. In this environment, ALDI North wanted to connect with younger fans - without paying the big bucks.
We took every amateur footballer's excuse “Without my knee injury, I would have gone pro” and turn a meme into a poster to then go viral back on social media.

With just 30 posters and a 7k budget, we delivered 3,5 Milliuon impressions in two weeks and did what main sponsor LIDL failed to do: go viral.
